Stranger Anxiety?

So, today at Justice's 9 mo check up, they asked us about his milestones... crawling, pulling himself up, etc. Well, they asked me if he had stranger anxiety, and when I said no, the nurse seemed surprised. I'm not worried that there's something wrong with him, I just didn't know stranger anxiety was something EVERY baby went through, or that it was a milestone. Justice is great with other people, and he loves being around other kids too. He loves being the center of attention.

So, is stranger anxiety something I can look forward to? Do all babies go through it?

my daughter loved everyone until just recently.
now she will only go to some women but only 3 men. ( both grandpas and her dad) when before she would go to anyone and everyone.

Bump doesnt really have it either. and she will be 1 on the 12th. She has separation anxiety, but most the time will talk/smile/laugh at anyone anywhere. loud men scare her sometimes but its not like she freaks if someone tries to hold her.

Kairie doesn't have, or ever had stranger anxiety, she loves people. Anyone can hold her and she'll just play along.

Niklas doesn't make strange either. I've heard that babies who have a lot of contact with other people other than Mommy might not make strange as much as babies who only are with Mommy all day long and little contact with other adults. Most babies do go through it, but how they go through it varies. Niklas has no screaming fits or hanging onto Mommy episodes, but he will show that he wants to come to me when I come into the room if he's with others by reaching for me with a big smile. And he definitely prefers me to comfort him if he hurts himself.
