Izzy gets her two month shots today :-(

My daughter Izzy has her two month check up in an hour and get's her first set of shots. I'm so nervous! Haha. I don't want to be in the room, but I have no choice. I wish my husband could come with me but he has to work, so my dads coming with me, lol. I'm such a chicken, but I'm sure I'll cry.   I hope everything turns out fine, which I'm sure it will.  

Aww, she will be fine. I cried a little when my baby got hers too (she SCREAMED for about five seconds), but it's best for them and they won't remember it.

After, she may fall asleep or want to eat. She may be fussy for the day, or a bit tired. But some babies have no reactions. Be careful of the shot site on her legs (there will probably be a bandaid on them so you will know where they are) as it can be sore for them. I touched my daughter's leg the wrong way in the bath after her shots and she threw a fit.

Have infant Tylenol on hand for either pain or fever (slight fever is common, my babydidn't run one though). Make sure to ask your ped before you leave the correct dosage for baby's weight. I realized after I got home that it's not on the pakcage, so had to page the ped on call (under 2 yrs, they dose by weight).

We just got home from her appointment. Everything went well. She's gaining weight and getting taller. She got three shots. She cried for a few seconds and then she was fine. She's sleeping in her swing right now. Yeah, they told me to give her .04 ml of tylenol every 4 hours for up to 72 hours after.
