Not until your a mother...

posted 3rd Sep
Not until your a mother do you realize all those things you thought were crazy and said you would never do you end up doing! I always said i would never let my baby sleep in my bed, when its 4 in the morning and all that little baby wants is for you to cuddle them you cant say no and just cave in and say just this once. I would see those ladies that would sit in the back seat with their baby and always thought they were crazy, come on sit in the front with your husband, im now a crazy lady who will sit in the back with her baby when she is upset. I never knew what my own mother went through and what an awesome job she actually did until i myself was a mother. I never realized that the love for a child could be so different from loving your husband or family until i held that little baby. I never realized what joy she would actually bring to me and my husband... She is my world and i adore her more then anything, i cant get enough of her... I dont mind the spit up perfume, the sticky spot on my shoulder daily, the once a week shower, the lack of sleep on some nights, and the endless poopy diapers... I dont mind that all i think about is her, i go shopping and dont come home with one thing for myself.. Sorry ladies im just going on and on, share some things you said you would never do.

I'm the same way with all the things you said. Everytime I go shopping anywhere it's straight to the baby aisle. I never buy anything for my self anymore. Seeing him happy with a new toy gives me the best feeling ever.

I love everything about my baby boy and about being a mom.. I never thought I'd have to change a pair of poopy panties, but 3 days after we brought Dylan home from the hospital my potty trained 3 year old decided that she wanted to be a baby still...
And I don't mind the bottomless pit of drool, the soaked shoulders, the fact that it now takes me an hour to leave the house because I have to get the diaper bag ready, triple check it, make sure the baby has a clean diaper on and clean clothes and make sure my daughter looks presentable along with getting myself ready... I never thought I'd be able to love 2 little people SOO much, but I do. I could stare at them all night and not sleep...
