re: antidepresants and pregnancy

personally i wouldn't take them whilst pregnant your hormones are all over the place anyway!i got depressed when i was pregnant and i don't think anybody knew about it i posted your other thread and i know what its like so if you wana chat feel free coz i've been there done that and cried pratically everyday of my pregnancy.Seriously though i thot my babys dad was a dickhead but i think you should give him a chance no matter how your feeling coz then at least you can say to your girl you gave her the opportunity to have a relationship with her dad but he meesed up

Usually they don't like to give them to pregnant women unless you are super depressed, like can't-go-on depressed. At least thats how the docs are here.

I gave my opinion to the OP. Then was called out on it by someone elseso I explained myself.

i took prozac until i was 36 weeks and then switched to zoloft.my son was born at 41 weeks, 1 day weighing a healthy 9 pounds, 2 ounces =)
