frustrated

I will be 40 weeks on Friday and I went to the dr. today and I am still only 1cm dilated and 25% effaced. He stripped my membranes and now I am just having a little bit of cramping. I have been walking everyday, but I don't know what else to do to get labor going. I really don't want to go past her due date, I am getting so miserable and frustrated. Somebody please help!!!

try nipple stimulation, like pumping your breast or just playing with them. i immediately started having stronger contractions closer together and had my baby the very next day.  

bumpy car ride..
lots of sex..
walk walk walk
look up pressure point on ur belly that can help u go into labor within 48 hours...

Do any of you know how far past your due date they will let you go?

Start scrubbing the floor. There is something about that position that helps. They usually dont let you go beyond 2 weeks past due.

If you are more than 2 weeks past due do you have to have a c-section if you are only 1cm dilated?

its different for every dr.
my OB is inducing me at 38 weeks. but thats becuz im in so much pain i cant walk and my fiance has to help me shower. its bad.

no unless ur baby is comin butt 1st. other wise they induce you. but if they induce you they will break ur water for u and u have 24 hours to have the baby or u will have to have a c-section

something oil..i dont remember how to say it..so im not even gonna try to spell it.

Well I am going to go walking and have sex and do everything I can think of to get labor going!!! I am ready for my baby to be here.
