Baby movments

posted 2nd Sep '08
Ok I am now 22 weeks and I have not felt my baby girl move. I have been told that they should be moving nowand I have also been told that you will not feel them move yet. The doc says everything is good and I saw her move when I got my last ultrasound on the 27 so I know she is there and moving but why can I not feel it? I need some input.

I just started feeling my baby kick last week (19 weeks). I feel her all the time now but I know people say if its your first baby it takes longer to feel them. This is my 2nd and with my first i was around 23 weeks before I could feel her move.

have you gained a lot of weight? that can be one of the reasons. another might be that she may be nocturnal and you may be missing out on her movements while you are sleeping since her kicks and punches arent that strong yet. you'll feel them dont worry too much if the doc says all is good! good luck~!

Every once ina while I will feel this feeling that is kinda like my muscles on the inside are kinda stretched. Its not really stretched but I dont really know how to say it. It happends when I sneez and when I move just right. What does it feel like when they move? I dont really know anyone who will help me out with knowing these kinda of things.

Both my sisters-in-law felt the first movements of their first babies at about 23 weeks. I was at about 19 weeks. It's just different for everybody.

You'll feel it soon, don't worry!!

Its so crazy how much you know! You always seem to have the anwsers to my questions I love it. My plasenta is in front. It has moved since the first ultrasound though. It is more to the right frot now rather then right in the middle.

LOL, mine was in the front and the sucker was huge!! its no wonder I didnt feel him for a while, but that is most likely why you havent felt her yet, you should start feeling her in the next couple weeks though! You will feel her all the time after 30 weeks though, just be patient, trust me before you know it you will feel her all the time!
