what do ya'll think of

the name 'Daxen Scott'. hubby doesnt like it, he wants something either 'practical and common' which is totally the opposite of what i want, OR he wants to name our child after car parts or something car related  

i think it's cute, but i need other people's logical opinions.

I actually think the name Axel for a boy is really cool, but thats me haha

daxen---- like jackson with a d?

I like it! I like original names though.

Daxen sounds nice, it could maybe be a car part!! 

It's funky but not in a bad way in the slightest. At first I kind of started to raise my eyebrow and then was like, "wait, that's actually kind of cool name!"

And... car parts? "This is our son, Carburetor Valvoline"?

yup, that's how you pronounce it. i like common names, but there not for my kids! lol.

hee-hee, i love the name axel! i've suggested it quite a few times...but not for the car part...for axel rose of guns 'n roses.

i could try pulling that one on him, the 'Daxen's such an such car part', but the guy could put a motor together in his sleep, he knows so damn much about cars, and he's OBSESSED with mustangs.

i like daxen...it's cute and different and sounds really masculine. not a fan of scott, but that's just personal preference. you and hubby need to choose something you both really like.

i decided on scott for the fact that brian's step dads middle name is scott, and both of our boys already have 'brian' and 'micheal' for there middle names, which are brians first and middle also. *shrugs*

come on momma, were talking about BRIAN here, lol. i know you and i have talked about this before. he doesnt like daxen though, so i told him to figure out a damn name, so he automatically starts throwing stupid shit at me!

i think that Scott ties the name down so it isn't sooo "out there" haha. We also used a family name for my son's middle name. Easton James. I really liked Easton and wasn't too sure about James. But after he was born I realized it fit him to a tee.

ya. i dont understand why this time around, this kids name means so much to him, when the other two were born, he gave me no shit name wise, and agreed with what i said! now he's completly opposite and not in a good helpful way!
