The bus driver FORGOT my son!

Our pick up time for the bus is 7:48, so to be safe we got there 10 minutes early. 7:38 on the dot is when we arrived. So we sat, we waited and come 8 o'clock there still wasnt a bus. I called the school and they said the bus had come to the school already!   So I rushed to get him to school, get the bus company's number and call them. Their excuse? "The bus driver forgot to go down your street."
Well thank god I dont work and didnt leave him at the bus stop! Dear heavens, he'd be sitting there all day not knowing what to do with himself.
The woman I talked to was giving me an attitude about it but I dont see how this is my fault in any way shape or form. Ugh...

that is RETARDED, I am so sorry. I would have bitched them out to high heaven.
If anything had happened to him, it would have been the bus drivers responsibility.

that sucks i know!! my first day of my 6th grade year that happend to me and i had to try to get ahold of myparents at work to come n bring me to school. i was so upset.

Theprevious 2 years the bus forgot my stepson, finally this year I didn't have to call the transportation office, they actually picked him up!!

That's insane! I would demand to speak to the boss and give them hell. You can probably lodge a complaint with the school division as well.

My bus driver used to forget me all the time   Well, he was also my best friends Grandpa and I was always falling asleep on the bus and he wouldn't see me slouched in the seat until he got home and started to do his clean up. I had dinner with "Pops" lots of times, and then he would bring me home after. Gotta love small town living!

My son is the only child at this stop. The horrible what if scenarios that play out in my mind give me chills. He's only five and I cant even imagine how scared he would be if he sat there all day. Or what if some perverted person saw him andoffered a ride then kidnapped him! I'm gonna call the bus company back in a little while and ask to speak to the bus driver directly. I'm really mad about this.

I read somewhere where a bus driver dropped off a toddler at a daycare program that had been closed for two months...thankfully one of the teachers from another daycare passed her by...
the driver was fired I think....

I'd be pissed. On top of the mistake that was made, the receptionist giving  you attitude is just crazy.

My husband said he was old enough to be there by himself, but I felt I should wait with him (he's too youngto me) so thankfully I was there.

I know! I kept my temper under control too and tried not to burst out, but she was still being a snot face.

I just talked to the busdriver and she said that she doesnt do the 7:48 time anyways regardless of what the school says. She said that ifI were out there at 7:25 that she wouldve gotten him. How the hell does it go from 7:48 to 7:25 just because she says so and how the hell is everyone else supposed to know that!?
I'm really mad now.
