Anyone else prescribed Reglan?

It helps with heartburn and basically makes your digestive system move faster. It has alot of good qualities like decrease in constipation, morning sickness, and heartburn, BUT...


it makes me a twitchy, restless mofo! Yesterday at work I wanted to slam my head into a wall repeatedly. I had to be moving constantly, but I was exhausted. By bedtime, I was still twitchy and had to take a Dramamine to calm down.

Anyone else experience this? It works wonders on my digestive system, but its driving my BRAIN INSANE!

Don't use it if you have kidney problems or mental problems.

Weird, I'd only ever heard of it being prescribed to increase your milk supply if you're breastfeeding. I'm not on now it but I've been meaning to make an appointment with my doctor to talk about it. That's weird that it makes you twitchy.

That's good, I get terrible kidney infections and an ER doc prescribed Reglan for my morning sickness, luckily I read the warning and called the nurse's hotline to see if I could even take it.

It's like a wonder drug, lol. I looked it up on drugs.com and everything I experienced was a normal side effect, but it's a little more than I think I can handle. It'd be easy to say I'll just stop taking it, but I really need it for my digestive system. I'm hoping the effects will subside.

Could you talk to your doctor and find out if there's anything else you can take that doesn't have such crappy side effects?

Today isn't as bad, though. I'm gonna wait about a week, because I'm hoping the effects will diminish with time.
