Quoting I'm goin to be a momma!:“ It cost about $3.50 to make each one so I have to at least make back what I put into it.. I was thinking $4.00 for the big ones and $6.00 for a a matching pair.. once I get good at it!”

I would say like $5 for the big ones.. You need to make more than just 50 cents per each one you sell.

Well I will definitely try all the ideas, And the ribbon selection would be better at an actual craft store.... this stuff I got at Walmart.. because I wanted to make sure it was something I enjoyed before I got a bunch of it... So.. that should help with finding more ribbons that match and I can mix and match more effectively..

i think your bows are cute. i like them both, but i personally like the pink and green one better. it would also look cute in purple and yellow maybe! also, i don't know how to explain this, but my sister had some bows for her baby that, instead of a hard clip, had kind of a fabric clasp, if that makes sense. it seemed like a nice idea for little babies, or even for toddlers and stuff, if you're worried about hurting their little heads or them falling and poking their heads with the hard clip part. just a suggestion! if i can find a picture or something of what i am trying to explain, i will post it! good luck with the crafts!

I line each clip with ribbon so it doesn't hurt the babies head.. although I've found once you start putting thier hair in ponytails its easier if the bottom side of the clip is the metal piece it slides into thier pony without pulling thier hair...but for the little ones its all lined with ribbon... which helps grip the hair.. Right now, until I get better handle on the materials they will probably be bigger bows...just for the next few because it gets harder as it gets smaller if that makes sense.. I've seen the velcro , but never a ziplock bag strip... but wouldnt that slide out of fine hair more easily... ????
