Preparation H and Breastfeeding?

Is it okay to use Preparation H while breastfeeding?

haha. No, I have a minor case of h-roids. The tube says to consult a doctor before use if breastfeeding. I think it's probably okay, but just wanted check.

yes you can. IF you still have your epi foam from the hospital, take a tucks and pump some epi foam on it. tuck it in your undies and sit. it's going to sting like a beeyatcha for a minute or two and then it will be sweet cooling relief!!! I wish you could get that stuff over the counter!

it was on my drugs that are ok list i got from the dr. to use while pregnant. anything ok while preggo is ok post preggo

yeah I was just thinking why wouldnt it be okay.. I mean, its an ointment you put on your skin.. why would it matter if you were breastfeeding?
but then I was thinking more about it and realized that some chemicals in it probably get absorbed into the skin, and hence into the breaskmilk? idk

i thought the same thing but, i had awful hemroids when pregnant and asked my dr. I swear by epi foam tho. when you have your baby ask for as much as they will give you. you can't get it over the counter and your roids probably won't go away completely so, when they do flair up it will save your life!!!!

You have to be careful with that... There are some things you can't take, or they will dry your supply
