Atreyu

I lost my son, Atreyu, this year in February My sister had a friend who gave birth One day before me. I saw this friend today with her son for the first time. It felt like my heart was being cut up into tiny little pieces each time I noticed all the little developments that he had made. He was so different than a newborn obviously. It was like looking in a mirror and seeing all the things that Atreyu missed. It just killed me. It sounds terrible but along with sadness it make me so mad so mad.
Before this happened I believe in karma, but I know that there is nothing that i have done to deserve this.

It just feels a little bit better to tell someone.

Just a question,.. where did you get that name? Because i love that band!.. i dont want to be rude.. i was just wondering.
But i really am sorry.. one day you will see him again and you will get to see him do all those things this other baby is.

i was thinking of the name atreyu for a future child .I am so sorry for your loss I could never imagine losing erimas i bet its heartbreaking.

shes talking about a son she lost. can you imagine loosing a baby after he was 4 days old.. and then making a post and someone talking about a movie instead of making you feel better. im sure this comment is just making her feel worse! goodness.

exactly she never even said she was sorry just talked about some movie.

My husband and I love the book. I couldnt wait to read it to him. I wanted him to fall in love with books just like I did. Before I took him off of life support I read him a couple of books. this comment was just not thoughtful at all.

I was sent home from the hospital with atreyu who had a thickening of the pulmonary value. They told me that he it was a mild problem and he might even grow and it fix itself. In fact the doctor told me that " he wouldnt have a heart attack in his sleep" so i shouldnt worry. I was home for 3 hours. I breastfeed him and put him down. right in front of me in the bassinet. I checked on him 15 minutes later and he was blue. I knew then it was too late But i did cpr while my husband called 911. He had a faint heartbeat and had to be taken to a hospital an hour away where they hooked him up to every machine possible. He was like that for two days while they did test after test. They told me that he wasnt going to get better but i would have to keep alive like that so that they could find out why. i never got to hold my baby again without those machines and wires. The only time I got to hold him was as he was dying and they had to keep the wire in him they said. I took him off of life support as soon as they would allow. I didnt want that for him. His heart finally stopped beating in my arms at 4:50 Pm on feb 20 four days to the exact minute of being here on earth.

i'am so sorry for your loss no parent should have to go through that.
