What's your opinion on the name Julian for a boy?
Do you think it sounds girly?
I had other names that i loved but when i told my boyfriend about the name Julian he fell in love with it. Every time i tell someone i am naming my son Julian they say "Isnt that a girl's name?" or they just try and act nice about it. My parents dont like it because my mom's boss is named Julian and they hate him lol
I think it's really cute but sometimes it DOES make me think of a girl. I really dont want my son to have a girly name...
I just want to know everyone's opinions on the name!  

My aunts husband's name is Julian and my newphews name is Julian. I think its a boys name. I don't think it sounds girly.

i really think that that name (as well as a lot of others) depends on how it fits the baby... i know two male Julians... One, the name just fits... the other, well lets just say that now he goes by Julia..
What middle name (if any) did you have in mind?

I think Julian is a good name.

its your child not theirs so it really dont matter what they think

My son's middle name will be Mariano [Ma-di-ah-no] since it is my boyfriend's middle name and his father and grandfather's name.

Julian is a boys name (Jillian) is agirls name  

I like it. It reminds me of the little boy on Big Daddy, but then of course, they called him Frankenstein..lol..but yeah Julian Mariano sounds great! And congrats on the baby boy!

I think it's a great name for a boy. I also like Julius. I've never heard Julian for a girl. Jillian is a girl's name.

That's what i always say but people still just dont seem to think so. I guess you have to actually KNOW a boy named Julian to think of it as a boy's name. :/

I know it doesnt matter what other people think, im not worried about other people i just dont want my son growing up with a girly name lol
My first choice was Damien but my boyfriend likes Julian better. Also his whole family is religious and thinks Damien will be a bad child.  
I am probably just gonna go buy what he looks like to me when he's born.

considering it's a boys name.... i don't see how it's too girly

I like Julian way better than Damien.

Lol yea at that time i didnt care much about the name but now i really like it.

or Juliann/Julianne is a girls name.

well it works out perfect with that middle... pretty adorable there!
