btw im really bored do you think that givig birth refers only to people that had theyre babys naturally or with c-section too. give me your opinions.

It refers to ladies who had their children by c-section or vaginally. So, both.

Both, your child is still being born and either way you go, you are put through a lot of pain.

Either way. I had a C-section and I believe I still gave birth to my daughter.
Birth is about giving your body to your baby at any cost in order to bring them into the world.

I did just that when I layed down and had my uterus cut open.

just because you had a c-section does not change the fact that you gave life to that child.. that you gave birth to him or her. in my opinion, at least.

Birth is the process in animals by which an offspring is physiologically expelled from the body of its mother.

since we are all in the Animal kingdom... and having a csection would still mean we were expelling the baby from our bodies.. i think this applies perfectly!

I agree with you. Although not everyone sees it that way. I have had people tell me that I dont know what labor/delievery means because I had a C-section.

no kidding I would have loved to have my son natural because I had a hernia from the c-section and had to have another operation. It still hurts like a bitch and pain meds arent really working .
so next time I have a baby (In the very distant future) Im gonna try for a VBAC.

and thats when you tell them to STFU. I had to have all 3 of my kiddos by c-section. The first one was not elective. I was in labor for 38 hours!!!!! I sure as hell know what labor fucking feels like!!! It doesn't matter how it happens, as long as a baby comes out of you-you gave birth!!!
