When does the baby turn head down

My Docotr said my baby is already head down im due october 14th and my baby already weighs 6 lbs and 10 ounces . When Do Most Babies Turn Head Down .

I have the same question. I am due Oct 25th and mine is breach per ultrasound yesterday....

My doc yesterday said that if he's not head down at my next apt (34 weeks) we will start talking about a c-section. So maybe it's then?

They can turn head down anytime. I think I was 25 weeks when I found out my baby was head down. but who realllly knows when she turned that way.

Mine was head down when i was 28 wks  , but yeah i asked it to the doctor bfore that and he said that if the baby is not head down by 36-37 weeks he might not turn head down and you might have a c-section

I keep wondering- is what I'm most worried about THE thing that's going to happen? I really really want to avoid a c-sec and I'm terrified of my baby being breech and not even getting the chance to have a normal birth.

At my 22 week ultrasound she was transverse, and still feels like she's in the same position now. I really hope I'm wrong, though, and she's moved head-down but I get no more ultrasounds so who really knows?

I'm trying not to worry about it but her being breech seems like the one thing that can officially wreck my plans
