Plug?

Hey everyone i went in for my 38 week check up two days ago. And the doctor said he could help me out go a lil faster by stripping my membranes.
I was dialated to a two. And then he stripped saying it might help get things goin a lil faster. i didnt think anything was goin to happen then my mucas plug came the next day.. is it true that i could go into labor now anytime. Like exactly what does that mean when it comes out? ( first pregnancy)   SO i am just kinda wondering . thanks hope everyone is doing well.

some people go for weeks after the plug comes out, some people only a day. it depends

It can be days, or weeks after your mucus plug.

It COULD happen anytime between NOW and a couple of weeks. I lost mine and was induced 2 weeks later.

I lost my plug at like 27 weeks... I'm 32 now. I don't think it has anything to do with going into labor sooner or later. But I'm not dialated either...

Okay because a lot of people say 1-3 days and i was getting really excited ..   hopefully anytime

I lost mine at 32weeks and didn't have her till 39weeks.

well, whether it's now or later, your baby will still come nonetheless. Let us know when he/ she is in your arms.
