contractions....Help plz

Okay all morning ive been having contractions every 5 mins. On a scale about a 4 in pain. I just went walking around my yard and now they are about 3 mins apart still about a 4. I do i wanna go up to L&D but I dont want them to tell me to go home agaiN! what should i do??? Please help ladies!

id say at 3 minutes apart you should get your butt down to the hospital and have your baby lol

some women just dont get much pain until right at the end.

You sound like me!! After 2 false alarms so far, I feel like I have to be completely convinced "this is it" before I go back....you can always call your L&D deck and ask the nurse her opinion and what to look for in the near future if you still arent completely ready to go in.... best of luck hun!!!

my pain was like nuthin until the last hour or so so if they are consistant i would go in... how long of a drive

its about 30mins...but i live in a college town and today is the 1st game and the hospital is on campus!1!

Go by how far apart they are and how long. Not by how much pain you can stand. You may be one of those people who can take alot of pain. By the way I was def less than a 5 in pain until my water broke when I was suddenly an 8, so it can happen in a heart beat. I would at least call L&D and let them know.

i didnt have much pain at all or contractions that i felt anyways but i would say go in and get checked any how

IVE ALso read that if u have been losing your plug and can count your contractions u need to go in....is that true?

Jesus Christ, I used to live in Gainesville. Call L&D and get your butt down to the hospital!

hm... i only say this because for me my doctor made me time them and said if they are between 3 -5 mins apart and lasting at least 60-70 seconds, come in. i went in and i was not dilated enough and they sent me home. but i guess it's close enough. i'd call the hospital and see what they say. and if you say you live in a college town and there's some kind of game today, go to the hospital now before s big rush and traffic jam! good luck!
