Now that we know the running mates, who are you voting for?

There are some rules I'm going to ask for this debate. NO mud slinging. IMO both of the candidates are not the best for the job so, I don't want to hear the Obama is evil debate brought up. Nor the Obama is part of the taliban theory. I just want to know who you are voting for and why. Lets keep it friendly!!!!!

I'm voting Mccain!
Why? I've been anti obama since day one. I'm a democrat 110% but, I can't back obama if he paid me a million dollars for his vote (maybe 10million....LOL) I think his inexperience is going to get us all in trouble.

I wasn't going to vote Mccain because, he's old and not completely with it IMO. no one can be that sane after being a POW. However, he's been pretty middle of the road for being a crazy republican. His running mate seems pretty middle of the road also. She may not agree w/something but, she understands what's fair and what the people want.

Some thing that make me a little worried about my choice.
She says that she has gay friends but, is against gay marriage.
To me this says that people are good enough to have a glass of wine with but, not good enough to have equal rights... That boggles me!

Her son is in the army and is scheduled to be deployed to Iraq next year. That's pretty amazing since, no one else in governement has a child in the war.

She says she's prolife and recently gave birth to a child who has downs syndrom. at least she lives her values no matter how I disagree w/them, I can respect someone who does what they say.

Her daughters name is Piper...anyone who will name their daughter Piper has brownie points in my book

I am voting for Obama. I don't think one person can change anything alone...but if my party is in office, then at least we have a chance. So after we pick the person in the primaries, I will always vote for my party's choice.

I don't plan on voting, I hate both candidates, and im going to give a vote to two jackass's who I don't agree with

Obama. My vote is always won on the immigration platform.

McCain.

I always considered myself a democrat since this election. All mudslinging campaigns aside, there is just something about Obama. I keep having nightmares about him kidnapping my daughter. When I see him speak I have this mental image of a little snake tongue flipping out with every statement.

I know this has no logical reasoning, he just give me the willies, and I have a bad feeling about him.

I really was not entirely on board for McCain until I saw his running mate. She is AWESOME. Alaska's own governor wants to drill for oil. She has 5 kids, and just gave birth in april. She is still fresh to politics, with little time to have beencorrupted yet. She supports the NRA (Woohoo!) Pro-life is a definite bonus. Her husband still works a normal middle class job, and is the member of a union. I feel she has her roots still deeply set in middle class America, and she can truly stand up for us.

The only thing I don't like, is that she is anti-gay marriage.

McCain and Palin are both rebels, going against conventional thinking to bring about new things. Together they can bring the country back together.

I've been a diehard democrat forever, but i'm not sure who I will be voting for. There is something about Obama I don't like, but don't know if I can vote for McCain. I want Hilary back!

Sorry for what? Even though I despise Obama, I would still at least respect him if he was elected. He earned his spot. Just the way I was raised I suppose, too bad more children aren't the same.
