WILL THEY INDUCE ME???

Hi. im 40 weeks tommrow and really want to be induced. im in to much pain in the vag area and i cant even walk without being in alot of pain do u think if i ring them and ask them they will do it???

Nope.
Generally they won't do it unless medically necessary OR if you are several days over your due date- 41 weeks is the standard.

On the other hand, if you feel like that, chances are baby will come out shortly enough without any help!

Prob not..Your not due till Sept 1st and they'll usually have you go over then induce if your little one does come out..

Depends on the Dr.... Mine won't let me go past my due date..... but it could be because of my baby's size IDK... you could ask..

my doc told me that she will induce right around my due date if and only if I'm inducable, so if I have a softened cervix then yea she will go ahead and do it. otherwise, no we wait... but she said she wouldn't let me go past a week and a half over due, and definitely no more than 2 weeks overdue regardless if I am inducable or not.

Depends on your doctor...mine will induce for pretty muh anything.

actually it wouldnt hurt to ask... i wasnt due with my first son until January 31st and i was in so much pain that they asked if i wanted to be induced on the 22nd. and it wasnt like she was a bad doctor either. She delivered both of my little cousins whom were premature and i trust her completely. i ended up having him on the 18th anyways though

Your doctor might induce you considering your 40 weeks tomorrow

depends on the doctor my doc. induced me a week BEFORE my due date

hey ladies, i'm 36 and a few days. Im dialated to a 4.5 and 75% effaced. But the drs wont break my water untill i'm a full 37 weeks =( any ideas??? I live 1hr 10 min to the hosp. think if i went now they would just send me home??? My contractions are strong but not too painful, bloody show, aghhhh SOMEBODY POP ME PLEASE!------it depends on the dr

If your contractions are consistent go to the hospital. And I hate you also. I am due one day after you and CLOSED and 50% effaced

They won't do anything unless you're 37 weeks. Sounds like you're well on your way, though. Is there anywhere close to the hospital that you could go and walk around for awhile, like a mall or something? That might help things along.

my contractions were never painful so if your waiting on the pain you may be lucky like me and not have any.. if you are 4.5 dialated then the L&D should have to keep you at least thats how it is where i am. the dr said once you get to a 4 they have to admit you so if you live that far away i would go.. if your afraid they wont keep you then just go in and act like you are in the worst pain ever, the nurses who admit you judge on whether or not your in pain. they told me since i wasnt in much pain that i prob wasnt in labor so i should go home but then i acted like i was dying and they admitted me lol

I know here it's supposedly illegal to induce before 41 weeks unless there is a medical reason.

As much as I want the baby out...the thought of being induced sucks too.
