hey there.....well here goes my bad mommy story, maybe if I share i will feel better but probably not...
Last night i traded my car in for an expedition..i was by myself with the girls and had just left the gas station i had put both the girls in there car seats and made sure that they were buckled in to them..well i had to stop really fast at a stop light and i feel a huge thud behind my seat followed by emmas screams...i got out of the car (at the light) and saw that her car seat was all the way behind my seat...i got back in and got out of the traffic so i picked up her really heavy car seat and put it in the seat and checked her over...she had a little scratch that quickly turned into a black eye..i am such a bad mommy i feel terrible

well an accident doesnt make you a bad mommy, just make you remember to double check something next time lol. No one has kids and turns into super mom who never makes a mistake

Everyone makes mistakes but at least we learn from them. While taking my daughter to the hospital for chemo treatments (at 5am every morning) with all of the chaos of getting her (4 years old) and my other daughter (2 1/2) packed in I forgot to buckle her into the carseat and drove 60 milesto Manhattan. It wasn't until we were 2 blocks from the hospital that she said, "Mommy, you never buckled my seatbelt." I quickly did it at a light but I felt horrible. Needless to say, that never happened again!
