what should i do?

it's really hard for my daughter to have a bowel movement, is there anything i can give her to make it easier for her?

they make infant laxative just call the dr and make sure its ok for the baby to have some

I dunno if this is any help but I've heard people say that the best thing for a constipated baby is to rectally take their temperature. Apparantly that really gets things moving. I dunno how true that is.

Is she old enough to drink juice? If so i would try giving her apple/prune juice. I use to give my son that. If he ever got really constipated i would give him a baby enema but im not sure what the age is on that...

she's 6 months old.

you should be fine if you give her somw juice. if you never have given it to her before add water to it

try apple or prune juice they always got my daughter going

depends on how much you give her. when I started juices I always did like a 20/80 mixture.so for 4 ounces I would do 1 ounce water 2 ounce juice

you can give her prunes. its in a baby food and you should mix it with another kind of food too. it worked very well with my son. very well! apple juice also helps but put a little water in it too. if she is like my son be ready to change a nasty diaper! good luck

My daughter had the same problem she had hemroids by the time she was 8 months she strained so hard and her docs. told me to use MiraLax just put a tiny bit in there formula or whatever and it works wonders!!
