Symptoms AFTER the depo shot

Ok this is weird. I got off the depo shot (finalllyyy) and all this weird stuff is happening.

I have gas cramps
period cramps
my chest hurts so bad I cannot wear a bra, which is annoying to me
My upper stomach hurts, like its in twists
And I am having back cramps to
I am not hungry at all (which I LOVE food so thats not normal)
I no this makes no sence but it feels like I have a soft ball in my throut(sp?) and I am going to throw up

Is this all normal?!!!

I was on the depo for 6 years. Than decided to get off. I did not have all the symptoms you have but, I did not get a period after a year of being off. Long story short my doctor forced it down and I started bleeding uncontrollably. A year later I found out I could not have children but, they were wrong. I'm due in 18 weeks. So, go get checked out to make sure everything is ok.

I hated the depo shot. I would try something else. It has the most side effects of any birth control out there. I gained about 20 pounds in just a few months from the shot. The weight really didn't come off after I went off it either. It took me over a year to get pregnant after being on the shot as well. I would look at other options

I gained 50 pounds.

Ouch, I thought 20 was bad!

I am off it. I was on it for 9 months. I didnt go through with the fourth round because of the weight gain. Now I feel like shit.

I went from a 7 to a 14 really fast.

i actually don't get depo I'm on Mirena, but alot of my friends used it and they all hated it. One of my friends said she didn't get a period and then when she got one it would'nt go off, another gained like 30 pounds because it made her appetite like a horse. Maybe you should look at other methods

I was on depo for 4 years.
I got off of it & i felt
the same as usual plus my period
started a month after & it was regular.
I have no complaints about it.
It changed me none; Actually it was
GREAT!
