What's everyone's opinion on the name Mason, for a girl? I know it's generally a boys name but I had a dream that I named my baby that and I can't get it out of my head

I like it spelled Maysun its more girly...

i like it... its cute

i think it's a cute name, but a little masculine, in my opinion. but you should name your baby whatever you like and whatever you think is suitable. good luck!

That's true, there are ways to make it more girly

Definitely ,and if you pair it with a really cute girly middle name I think it could be really cute , and not confused for a boy name!

its true its a lil masculine but u can get away with it if u put a cute girly name and spell it totally diffferent from the oroiginal way..

I could try Maysun, Maisun, Maison, Mayson....and for a middle name I was thinking either Claire, Grace, Emma, Ella or some of my crazier ones like Ophelia, Valentina, Velvet, Autumn or Belle

I like it for a boy. But if you want it as a girls name try spelling it a ltitle more girly...like Maysin? Or giving her a middle name that's girly. Mason Marie?

I have had only one Mason in class (over 13 yrs of teaching) and it is a girl. However, my nephew's name is Mason.

rule of thumb.. " If it ends in "son" it shouldn't be used on a girl, the only exception is Allison."

Mason is too masculine. I know a number of little boys named Mason.

Really don't like it for a girl.

i like it... a friend of mine named her baby that, only spelled mayson.
