Barley Cereal?

So the other day I went to get my WIC stuff, and decided since we already have Rice cereal AND Oatmeal...that I was gonna try the Barley cereal. I got it home and my mom said she thought you weren't supposed to give the Barley, or to wait until later. I looked it up, but all I could find was GOOD stuff about it.

Anyone have any ideas? Is my mom right?

according to my sons pediatrician he advised me to start with rice then barley so i guess its all dependent on who ya ask

its just cause allergie reasons I waited on oatmeal and barly cause family allergies but aslong as u wait like a week when trying something new to see if they have a reaction you'll be fine

We gave Mikaila oatmeal with Breakfast, barley with lunch and rice with dinner.
