any one gave rice flour to their babies?

my daughter is 1 month old, im not bf, only bottle feeding!. [we have tried similac & emfamil] witch she didnt like none!. now, my mom is telling me to give her rice flour, she said she gave it to me and my other sisters when we were babies and we did just fine with it!..
BUT, im not to sure if i wanna give something like that to my daughter,
of course i have on mind she needs to eat,
yesterday she only ate about 4 times, only 1-2 oz she kept throwing up the formula, or she would just not want to eat it.
.any one feeds rice flour to their babies????
is it good?

add: i called her pedi but they told me they couldnt see her today, because they were full, but she will be seen monday morning!.

take her to the ER.

i would hold off till monday and ask the ped.... i mean its only a couple more sleeps right . Mom may have best intentions but i would leave it up to the doc

Babies neeeeeeeeeed food! Like every 2hrs or so.. and if she's not keeping anything down, then she's not thriving/growing! GO NOW.. GET OFFLINE!

she is keeping food down! but not all of it.
.she id doing good when i give her water!, its only the formula the one she cant keep

take her to the ER she need to eat way more then just 4 times a day

GO to the ER and tell them your baby isnt eating and throws up wheyou try to feed her her formula, ya never know what could be wrong

giving her water at this age is not good .... she needs the nutrients in the formula ... have you tried a lactose free formula?

does she have a fever? Maybe you need to go the store and get her some pedialite

i did that like 2 weeks ago!
i took her to the ER because she was throwing up too much. and them dumb idiots send me back to the house telling me she waas allright, !
witch i belive they'll do the same thing, rite now she is doing good, my mom gave her the rice flour and she took it very good, but i was just concerned about giving her that! since i never seen any baby eating rice flour

no she doesnt have a fever!. she is good in any other way, except the formula feeding!..

her pedi said it was ok to give her water!, no we havent try that one,
i havent heard of lactose free formula!. were can u get it?

Shes only 4 weeks old though.. I don't know if she should be eating that.
