adjective
Terrorism, the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion. The word is chilling, no? It evokes images of scary men with bombs, just waiting to take away our freedoms.
But what does it mean? It means using terror (fear) to coerce (to compel to an act or choice, to achieve by force or threat) people.

Passages describing Hell are found throughout the Bible with a particular concentration in the Gospel of Matthew. The existence of Hell has been taught continuously by almost all Christian faith groups throughout their history. Hell has traditionally been viewed as a place of intense, eternal physical torment. In fact, because the Church has taught that inmates of Hell are trapped there for eternity without hope of release, their punishment is infinite in nature.
Historically, the churches taught that many, perhaps the overwhelming majority of humans, would be punished there for all eternity, for sins committed during their life on earth.
Beliefs about Hell have profoundly affected Christians:

Fear of punishment in Hell, either for the believer or for unsaved friends and family of the believer, has probably caused more personal anxiety and distress than any other single Christian belief.
Hell has also motivated many Christians to follow the Great Commission and attempt to convert the world to Christianity, .
Like it or not, if you, like I've seen many do on this forum, attempt to browbeat and scare people into your way of thinking by telling people that they're going to Hell for their actions, beliefs or even their posts... you
are a terrorist. Let me repeat myself... you are a terrorist.
Now, for those tempted to have a knee-jerk reaction, I'm not calling all Christians terrorists, by any means. Spreading the word of your God, trying to bring people to God, by showing them what you believe, by showing them the goodness of God, that's not terrorism by any means. That's trying to give people the same love and feeling that you have, trying to minister to people, and this post is not about those people.
But if you preach Fire and Brimstone, and condemn others to Hell for their actions and beliefs, you're a terrorist, plain and simple.
Should people follow God because they find wisdom in his works, and feel His love, or should they follow God because they're afraid of Hell?
