I've been getting migranes since puperty after haveing my daughter I had a spinal leak from my epidural and over the last year been getting worse I get numbness dizzyness ect my dr was doing test to figure out if I still had the leak (had contraction durng incersion of eppi and moved screwed it up took a few tries)the last test was a mri for my brain she thinks I don't have enough fluid to protect it but I got prego so we didn't do the test I get horible migranes up to 4 times a week I deal with most of them since the medication my dr gave me doesn't work vicoden is the last one but makes me very loopy. If I take excedrine migran 2 sometimes 3 it makes it tollerable my dr is ok with it but says shouldn't do it in my last 3 months cause makes labor longer. I don't know what to do take vicoden and be looppy aroundmy 19 month old I'm the only person who can watch her till bout six or do I keep takeing excedrine once a week. I have tried to just deal with it but I end up all day just laying around and my daughter gets no attention. one time I made my husban rush home cause I was with my daughter in the bath my face went numb n I blacked out I feel its a safety risk for my daughter any input or advice?

dont be alone with your daughter! it IS a safety risk.. she couldve drowned. id suggest going to the er immediately.. thats not normal and you could have serious damage. have someone watch your daughter and have someone else drive you to the er. if yuor blacking out yuo could have something that could be damaging your brain. its definately serious and isnt something to just wait to be tested for. IMO your doctor is an idiot! good luck and be carefull!

I haven't blacked out lately and really there's no one till 6pm to watch her besides weekends and wed's all drs tell me just to deal with it since I'm always "fine "when I go in and there's not much they can do since I'm prego no test or anything. I feel like I'm risking one childs health for another and no one will help me till after I'm prego just kinda lost. numbness and blacking out has only happen 3 or 4 times since my daughter was born she's 19 months my husbans very concerned but no one will help a pregnate person

Get childcare or soemthing.. you NEED to find someone to be with you and your child all the time.. i mean.. who cares if its only happened a few times.. one more time could be fatal.. to your child. and if you fall and hurt your belly... that aswell. you need to think of your children.. fuck the doctors. find SOMEONE to help you and until then get someone to stay with you. you can call local nursing facilities and have a home nurse come help you out.

dose anyone know what all the side effects are of excedrine migrane? I know bout the caffine dr says not recomened cause the asprin. all that I know is can prolong labor and in lab rats cause bleeding.
