Extreme

posted 29th Aug
Okay so lately I have been talking to my husband about what I think would be good ideas, maybe they are a bit extreme and people will disagree.

1. If a female is receiving financial aid she should be on birth control. I don't feel that society should have to pay for more children if you can't afford them.

2. That organ donation should be the rule, not the exception. This would save many lives and decrease the amount of time spent waiting for transplants.

3. (I know people are going to disagree and say that its cruel and callous) That artificial lifesupport should be removed when the funds run out when a person is brain dead or living in a persistive vegetative state.

Anyone have an opinion or idea?

For your idea on organ donation its ridiculous. I actually know of a few people who think its horribly wrong not to go "up above" without all their parts. Its kind of like a freedom of speech thing.

I pretty much agree with all 3 of those. I dont understand why some people are against organ donation. Seriously, what are you going to do with your liver when your dead?

It's all great except for those pesky civil rights that everyone is demanding.

1) I'm a female, and I receive money because of disability. Should I go abort for you?

2) Violation of human rights.

3) What do you mean "when the funds run out"?

I def. agree on number 1. I am on state support, but only until my SO gets out of college. I hate using the state and after 6 weeks, I will def. be on BC!

I don't really have any opinions on 2 or 3.

1. I'm in the middle. I agree that women shouldn't have children if they can't afford to take care of them, but don't agree w/ mandatory birth control.

2. Organ donation shouldn't be a rule because alot of people have religions that they follow and organ donation is against that religion. Why make someone do something they don't think is right.

3. I think everyone should make out an advanced directive that was everyone knows what they want shall the worst happen. DNR's are there for a reason.

if you are an organ donor, I have heard that they don't do as much to keep you a live. (my husband had cancer and they didn't want todo much in the way of helping him when he ahad a bad reaction to the radiation)
Also, not everyone can and/or should do this. My mom was an organ donor, had a blood transfusion when I was 8 and now has really bad hep C. also many people are not tested for this disease and therefore many people have it and don't know, it takes up to 20 years to show ANY symptoms

Yes or no on the abortion OP. I'm going to need to schedule it before it's too late, I'm nearly into the second trimester.
