My hubby is pissing me off. I'm about to hang up the damn phone on him. He's calling me mean because my daughter is in the room crying. I told him she's been doing this for four hours and he said I should still be trying to console her. I told him he doesn't help when she's doing this during the day so that I"m not so stressed when he leaves for work. And he said he did. For like 5 minutes he held her today and she fell asleep. 20 minutes later she woke up and started crying and he handed her back to me. That was the total of his time with our 3 kids today. And when I said that he said sorry he works so he can't be here to help. Like he totally ignored the statement. The asshole!! couldn't even give me the satisfaction of hanging up. He said I was preoccupied with typing so he'll talk to me when he gets home. GRRR!!!!

Lol, for when he gets home put the keyboard under the blankets on his side of the bed.  
(At least that's what I'd do because I can be a sarcastic asshole.  )

I'm sorry though. Men just don't understand sometimes!!

Guys never get it, do they? Always turn the argument around too. Mine says the same "Gee, sorry I work! I guess I could stay home and us have no money!" as if when I complain it always means that!

I hear ya....at Addie's doctor appointment for her one year Erick told the nurse that he was the primary care taker....I thought "are you high?". Don't get me wrong....he is with her tons. But he goes to school full time....I work fill time nights. He doesn't have to work. So I am the one that pays all the bills. Addie goes to daycare while I sleep during the day and then I pick her up and have her until Erick comes home and then we spend some time together and I go and take a nap until work. He puts Addie to sleep almost every night. It was just such an asshole move to say that he is the primary care taker. I give him credit that he does more than most men....but really? So anyways....sorry about going off....but I hear ya clucking big chicken. I am right there with you.

lmao.. i told my SO that after i get my degree he can be a stay at home daddy if he'd like.. (after spending 6hrs watching mal while i was having me time running errands..)

Right? When he said that I looked at the nurse (mind you this is in the clinic that I work as a nurse on the hospital side of things...needless to say....she knows me) and said "apparently he's my house husband". He sucks as a house husband though...I do more dishes than he does!

The funny part is that he hasn't realized that I'm now no longer in the mood to possibly experiment and he's probably gonna stop at the store. But now the kids are asleep and I"m going to bed.
