Sunday seems to be the day.....

My little girl is finially coming home! They are not saying definite yet but they are saying that they think it will be Sunday! Right now she weighs 3lbs. 6.1 oz!

Wow.. Congrats! How early was she? My son was born at 3lbs and they wouldnt let him go home until he was 4lbs but he ended up coming home at 5lb3oz.

She was 7 weeks early. She weighed 2 lbs. 4oz. I was having problems with high blood pressure and my placenta wasn't working properly so she wasn't getting all her nutrients so the doctors took her early.

It's so nice to say that I know EXACTLY how you are feeling.. (I don't think I've ever been able to say that)
I was ready to sing to the heavens when I found out my daughter was coming home.
She will be 3 months old Sept. 2 and is now up to 8 lbs. 10 oz.
That's pretty good for a 32 weeker who started out at 3 lbs. 6 oz.
If we can do it, you can do it!!

Oh wow.. Bless her. My doctors had to take my little man too, thanks to SEVERE preeclampsia. Well hopefully your little girl will be home soon, PM me if you need another preemie momma to talk to!  

She's home!!! Sunday actually wasn't the day though! She needed one extra night to reach the goal weight! So she came home yesterday morning! It feels so good to finally have her here with me!

Thank you! I never thought it would be this scary having her home too! Theres no nurses or monitors, just me! But I'm slowly getting over that! I just run every time she makes a little squeek!

If you get nervous (like I did, even though I have an older child) you can buy a sensor pad for her crib..

I bought this one for my daughter... I used it ALOT at first, but not quite o much anymore.. But once you no longer need the sensor pad, you can put that part away and use it like a regular baby monitor..(you can use it as both too, so you can hear the alarm in another room).
I'm using it alot more NOW too, since I got one of my baby mags and read a story about SIDS and some statistics.. Kinda freaked me out a little bit.. (sorry, not trying to scare you)

Just wanted to let you know she is doing wonderfully! Over 5 lbs now! She is growing so fast! and for your enjoyment.....
