Quoting Maddyson's mommy:“ I'm telling ya! lol. she's already got attitude lol! She can holler with the best of them lol. I think ... [snip!] ... gotten into anything)..I look down at her and she's sound asleep! i had been trying for like 2 hours to get her to nap lol.”

Lol, that'll be funny, one minute shes running around, next minute, passed out on the floor. haha, even tickling her can't keep her awake, maybe thats what you've gotta do to get her to sleep from now on?

Quoting Kennedy's Mommy:“ Kennedy went thru that, at about the same age too. It lasted for about a month. It drove me nuts, because ... [snip!] ... a basket-case by the end of the day. I don't know what it was, other than just a phase - because she takes naps again, LOL.”

Crap, lol, well hopefully this phase ends soon! This nap strike sucks. Was there anything you did that at least made your daughter happy, even if she didn't get a nap to feel better?

Quoting TypoDemon:“ Has anyone else had to deal with a "nap strike"? Rogue used to take about 3-4 naps a day and then go ... [snip!] ... it just started in the last few days or so. And I know they start to take less naps as they get older, but shes only 4 months!”

tyla took a nap strike at that age too! I would lay down with her to get her to nap then sneak away and surround her with pillows. May sound like a start to a bad habit but its two months later and she naps by herself in her crib now sometimes with me though but thats ME not her lol.
anyways
I'd lay with her and sing to her. Seriously my horrible voice made her fall asleep oddly enough..still does when she sometimes fights it

That was about the time we started putting her in the Exersaucer - she LOVED that thing(still does). That would keep her happy for up to about an hour! If you don't already have one, you might think about investing in one.

If she was real tired and still fussing (like yawning and rubbing her eyes but STILL refusing to sleep), we would lay her down in her crib and let her fuss it out for a bit (like 10 - 15 min). Sometimes letting her have a "final meltdown", then going back into her room to comfort her was THEN enough to finally zonk her out. (NOTE to anyone else reading this: I'd only recommend this for babies more than 3-4 months old!)

Hm, definitely going to try the pillow idea lol, I'd sing for her, but I can't stand my own voice, its been messed up since I had her. Hopefully this works though.

I have one, which she hated last time we put her in it, but I can try again. Sadly she doesn't like her crib, she sleeps in my bed lol, which usually can put her to sleep, if shes tired enough, but thats my boyfriends "office" for work and I can't take her in there when hes on call.

yeah it was SO exhausting for ME when she woudln't take a nap.. so I gave in and let that bossy girl have her way and sleep on my bed. then piled a thousand pillows around her. Can't be too careful lol

I bet and lol, oh yea, especially if she can roll, the pillows were a good idea, keep her safe and give her something to snuggle up to.
