re: September Mamas!!

Just updating everyone.
I had my little boy on August 30 at 9am exact. He was 8pounds 9oz and 20 and1/2 in.
I went in to L&D on Friday at 4, they started pitocin (sp?). Stayed there all night at 4cm and 100%..I had some medicine through my IV to help with the pain from contractions, it worked the first dose but the second one didn't work at all. I finally decided to get an epidural even though I didn't want it at all..So I get that at 7am...then the doctor broke my water, and contractions were beyond unbearable, the epidural didn't work, so they took it out and did another one. That worked and I passed out for a bit. The doctor woke me up saying they needed to check my cervix, at that point I was dilated all the way and had to call my mom to come in there, I pushed maybe 6 times and he was born. Ripped a little bit but nothing too much. I have to say I hurt like hell though.

I thought I would send an update as well. I went in today for a stress test and at that time they told me I failed a different test I took earlier in the week and they were going to keep me and induce labor. so they gave me two doses of something I don't remember the name of but it is supposed to help softem the cervix and it is not pitocen... but it didn't really do anything yet so they sent me home and I am to return tomorrow for another dose and then they are keeping me no matter what and by Wednesday they will switch to pitocen and if that doesn't work a C-Section so.... I am going to have my baby very soon!! I am super excited!!!!

I went to my midwife today and everything looks good. My BP is 90/58, I gained 3lbs. and Aidan is now well engaged and ready to go.

this morning i started having contractions and i had to go to the hospital but im still only 1cm dialated so i was sent home on what the nurse called "labor watch" she said i was a "loose" 1cm so it will be soon. but maybe he will wait until my monday induction  if he doesnt thats even better that just means ill have my little boy sooner rather than later! i go back to my ob in the morning.

I cant wait on tuesday i will officially be a mommy i go in at 5 that morning to be induced

I went to see my doctor thursday and now i have to do a 24 hour urin catch sunday, and go back monday to have my bp checked. He says I have signs of Preclyampsia. My cervix is thining and i'm dialted to half a centimeter.

Well Im 4cm and 100% effaced but no STEADY contractions. Im being induced on thursday due to advanced dilation and baby size.....est 8lbs 10 oz!

Dang, mamma! That's a big baby.  
I've been getting period-like cramps, and a lot of lower back pain.. The pain in my back feels more like contractions than the cramps.. But I get them alot it my lower stomach, and my hips... And I'm EXTREMLY uncomfortable anymore... I can't even sit down and get up without hurting.. And sleeping is a pain in my butt too... If I'm lucky and even sleep at all! And those annoying butt cramps.. Uugh.

I have been having contractions forover a week, but I am hoping he stays in there for @ least another week   When I went to the Dr on Thursday, I was 1 cm dialated & 40% effaced.

I want to meet this little girl already... all through July and August we were scared to death I would go preterm. Now that I am term I just want to hold her in my arms.. I cannot take much longer. I was 1cm dialated and 80% effaced at my 36 wk appointment. I lost my mucous plug about a wk and a half ago and then more mucous a few days ago. The dr. didn't check me this wk and said she would next week if we don't have a baby by then. Ughh I know I shouldn't be complaining since the dr really thinks I will be going anytime and won't make it to my duedate but every day goes by with the feeling of "oh this could be it!" and it NEVER is. I am sure everyone feels like that though. Anyway labor dust to everyone!!

Just a head's up~ my Dr told me with my daughter I would go anytime after 38 weeks. I was 100% effaced & dialated to 1cm. I was that way for another 4 weeks & had her @ 42 wks. I just hate it when Drs get pregnant womens hopes up & then it's frustrating & devastating if you actually do hit your due date   Good luck & hopefully she comes soon! I was hoping I would go already, but DH had knee surgery yesterday& can't drive, so I want him in there as long as possible   I know~ I'm nuts!!! lol

I'm feel the SAME exact way, it hurts so bad I dont think I should be driving. Hope you feel better and have that baby soon!

just updating everyone: i had my little boy sept 9 at 12:26pm 8lb 10.2oz 21 in. i spent 29 1/2 hrs in labor! ouch! i will be posting my labor story as soon as i can get it typed because its long lol
