what did/do you feed your 8.5 month old?

I give noah

3 baby foods a day

usualy some fruit granola dha mix from gerber
fro lunch anything with vegies in it
and for dinner something like turkey rice and vegies

every baby food is followed by 8 oz of formula
i give him 4 oz of apple juice a day
and a bottle before bed

and a handful of the puffs from graduates

if he is really hungry i give him a bottle inbetween...

is that a good scedule or should i revamp some things?

That sounds perfect actually! Pretty soon you can give him like more table foods. Instead of like mushy food but you are on pretty much the same schedule I was at that time.

Justice won't eat any baby foods anymore. He's been on table foods for the last month or so (ok'd by his dr). He eats the gerber graduates though.

I think your schedule is good. Just, my dr said that they shouldn't drink a bottle at the same time that eat a solids meal,just because that' slike feeding them twicfe. Justice only eats a bottle afterwards if he didnt eat the solids good.

youre doing great   I remember lilah had 24 ounces of formula a day and 2 baby foods a day and table food for dinner. Now she is on table food

I started puffs at 6 months old, she was eating cherrios like a champ at 7 months old and now she refuses to eat baby food so I just give her table food

By the way, steamed veggies are great for table food

My son still wakes up at night to "eat" or so I thought. I brough this up to the dr because he was eating a ton of milk, and the dr said he might just be in the habit of eating, so I give him a botle with water in it at night, and that usually does the trick. He ususally just sucks on it for a little bit and then pushes it out of his mouth as he goes to sleep. He doesnt drink that much water compared to drinking a whole bottle of milk! He won't take a paci though, so maybe that's why? IDK if you want to do that, but if your pedi doesnt have a problem with how you do it, that's probably fine. Justice was eating 6 8 oz bottles a day, at least, sometimes he'd eat 8! I reduced them to 6 oz each and now he eats about 5-6 6 oz bottles of the day.

yup. Start with puffs, then cherrios, then try little things like bananas, blueberries, steamed carrots, brocolli, peas.. whatever.

my son started eatting table food at about 5months... it was thanksgiving and he wanted what I had ..lol so I gave it to him... I had tried little stuff with him b4..but not like thanksgiving food..lol ...and continued from there giving him more and more as he got older...
