Quoting Countdown to Sept. 5th: when i had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago, they were both about 4 1/2 lbs. I have another one secheduled ... [snip!] ... breech, which now i'm sorta hoping for so we can go ahead with the c-section just so i dont have to wait too much longer....Wow, my babies are a little bigger....Baby A (girl) was 4lbz9oz and B (boy) was 5lbs13 oz; that was a week ago on Tuesday....I am actually thinking about calling my doctor and rescheduling for earlier...
Quoting busymama: My c section is scheduled for September 16th! So I will be just one day ahead of you. Congrats on making ... [snip!] ... changing moment so congratulations! You'll love having twins they are such a blessing and a joy good luck you'll do just fine!I think I will be the same way; being silent on the way to the hospital. My appointment is for 11 am so they said I have to be there around 9 to get ready...and of course no food before the surgery...just in case you may throw up during the procedure...Just thinking about it will probably make me throw up and I probably will have to keep my eyes covered so I don't freak out from the hospital and lights scene....I'm a big freak when it comes to stuff like that (
Quoting Anna-Twin Mom to Be: Wow, my babies are a little bigger....Baby A (girl) was 4lbz9oz and B (boy) was 5lbs13 oz; that was a ... [snip!] ... was 5lbs13 oz; that was a week ago on Tuesday....I am actually thinking about calling my doctor and rescheduling for earlier...
Quoting Countdown to Sept. 5th: Wow, thats a big difference.. They told me that if one started growing more then the other then they ... [snip!] ... them because that means ones not getting as much as the other. But i guess its also cuz the measurements could be off a lil.Yeah, but thats the case if the twins are idential. Mine are fraternal and have their own placentas; and also doctor said that the boy usually should weigh more than the girl; I think it goes up to like 20% difference or 25% then I think it matters but the doctor said in my case it is still ok.

Quoting Ashley Pires: I have to have a c section on Sept 11. I'm sooo scared...I had my birthing plan and everything..set for ... [snip!] ... way for the baby to be delivered but I have never had surgery before.. and the thought of it just bothers me for some reason.Yeah, it does sound scary; I also never had any surgery. Quoting Beth....yay for Sept. 5th: i'm extremely nervous now! I go in tomorrow for my final appt. and ultrasound. I'm sorta hoping that ... [snip!] ... tears almost every day due to pain. I dunno if i can last for an infinate amount of time until THEY decide they wanna come out.You will be fine....whatever is meant to happen will happen...that's how I look at it...stay positive and strong!!! )
Quoting Casidy: hmm.. you don't HAVE to have a csection with twins, unless there are other problems (they are turned wrong?) it is possible to give birth to twins vaginally if you want to. maybe ask your doctor. They are both breech
