labor fears

Sooo...how many of you are getting nervous about labor and delivery? I have this insane fear that I will not be strong enough to push him out, or that I won't know what to do, or that my asthma will make it too hard for me to breathe ect ect....I keep getting the most nervous feelings...am I going to have everything ready on time..?.eek it's almost time! 5 1/2 more weeks!

everyone has fears, but baby comes out regardless of if you're scared or not. I'd talk to your doc about your fears.

Just to ease your worries a little...I have asthma and was worried about the same thing. But I never had any problems at all with my asthma during delivery. I brought my inhaler just in case, but never needed to use it.

i was nervious also but when u go into labor your not going to be nervious your mind is going to be getting the baby out. i was nervious at the begining cause they induced me so i had time to be nervious but when i started hurting that changed..lol

I can't offer advice about the asthma thing cause I don't have it so I don't know, but as far as pushing the baby out, trust me, you will know what to do when it's time and you'll have the strength. It just kinda happens that way. One piece of advice someone gave me is this: when you're pushing it will hurt (really bad). You may want to stop pushing because ithurts,but you have to push through the pain. It may sound weird, but it was the best piece of advice I ever got and I don't see anything ever topping it. All I was thinking when I was pushing was "push through the pain!" I really hope what I said can help you like it helped me. Try not to be too nervous (easier said than done, I know...lol). Everything will all work out and soon you'll have your little baby in your arms!

girl lol i want him out already!! but im scared im not gonna be able to do it... not pushing hard enough or him just bein stubborn =[ same fears girl like u said 5 weeks left =]
