So the change table is gone....

We haven't used it for a while, so I thought I would pull it out of Kieran's room seeing as how now he thinks it's a fun thing to climb on. So then I totally rearranged his room! I thought I would post a few pics of his room, or as I call it "The happy room". Hope you like 'em!

Thanks ladies! The colour is called "Smackeral of Honey", it's from the Winnie the Pooh collection at Home Depot. Yeah.... I went a little overboard on the Winnie the Pooh.

I have been thinking about taking my son's changing table out. He is 7 months old & we don't ever use it anymore. He is so busy and hard to change, so we change him on the floor. It would also give us more room for toys and I wanted to get a book shelf.
I love the Winnie the Pooh. The room looks great!

Thanks! My son is a year on Sept 11th, but we haven't really used it since around 8 months because he just flips over and trys to reach the door handle, so I finally took it out. Besides, with his birthday coming up I thought he would need room for more toys

I never used a changing table..I wanted furniture that could grow with my daughter and my SIL said with 3 kids the changing table was only used to hold toys with each one..

I change her in the bed or on the floor.

Thank you! I love it too - when I was pregnant I would open the door every morning to get my happy fix for the day! When I told people I was painting it orange I got a lot of negative comments. Once it was done though, no one could deny that my decorating taste was better then my fashion sense!

I wouldn't have bothered with it, but it's my cousins, so it was just a free borrow item. Most of his things are. The crib was giving to me by one cousin, the change table, exersaucer, swing, bouncy chair, high chair and car seat were all lent to me by another. The only thing we actually had to buy was the stroller - thus why it's best to wait until the rest of the family is done - FREE STUFF!

I am the EXACT same way! If you offer, I will take it. If it doesn't get used, it's passed to another pregnant lady! Also- What a smart boy! Flipping the changing table over to get out of the room! lol. A hassle I'm sure...but also cute and a blessing you have such a "MacGyver"

Yeah MacGyver is right - little pooper took off his pants and socks today while he was playing outside in the playpen - and it was cold out! And then, he started throwing his toys and his socks at the dog to get him to come over to him. I'm in so much trouble.....
