For all those working moms....

posted 26th Aug
I really only wanted to post to say how much I respect mothers who have young children and are working. I am blessed to work at home and make pretty decent money, but it's hard even coming up to my office and leaving the kids with daddy all day. Especially my 10 month old. I think about him all day long while I'm working. So, my hats off to you moms, I don't know how you do it, but you are wonderful strong women to do what you do every day for your babies!!!!!!!!!

What do you do from home? I just lost both my working from home jobs and now I don't knowwhat I'm going to do.

It is hard but it is something you adjust to. I think SAHM's are incredibly strong that is a full time job.

I am considered self employed. I have a contract with a local office to do transcription for the Government. It's a sweet job and I really don't know what we'd do if I lost it. I'm in the works of starting doing photography on the side too, and if I ever get around to learning I'd like to sew cloth diapers to sell also. But yeah, a lot of people get excited when I say I work at home, but it's a local office so I'm not much help!

Oh I agree that SAHM is hard too! lol....sometimes I feel like both because I get called out quite a few times a day from work to deal with things. It's just hard all around for everyone.

A lot of places do want experience and some sort of training. Fortunately this place didnt. I passeda grammar and spelling test and typed really well. I love it.

Haha that's coincidental because my mother lives in PA! It is WAY more expensive here!!!

Definitely come, we have a wicked cool aquarium and a lot of fun stuff to do around here and Boston (about 20 minutes from here, if that)! It's not so fun when you live here though because you do it constantly! Haha.

My husband had that name picked before he ever met me! I wasn't too sure about it, but now I'm glad we used it!

Oh I love it. And if you guys ever get the chance to come here, do it. Your children will love it and so will you... at least the zoos, aquariums, etc. It's not the BEST place in the world, but I've been here all 23 years of my life and I guess it kinda grows on ya. LoL.
