when is the head down in the pelvic?

Ok so iam 30 weeks and odd day and i went to the ob and he said that the babys head is already down in the pelvic bone which made me have contractions. but by 30 weeks is that normal? or do they start later then 30 weeks. iam just trying to figure it out but like if he is going to come early. doc said maybe he will be here mid sept and not october

i had an ultrasound done at 31 wks and she was already head down... and has been im now 37wks... they can stay that way for a while... i also have contractions but not close enough together to go in...

They had to stop my contractions with that nasty shot that makes you shake. They were 4 mins apart but i was closed

Same here except im only 35 weeks + afew days...they can stay down there for a while before deciding to come on out! lol!

It just depends~ mine didn't go heads down until 36 weeks

i am 31 wks and the doc said my baby was head down also its normal ...they are getting ready for the big day!

so maybe early maybe not. but these contractions has got to stop and iam not even open. he just needs to stay up there for 4 more weeks and then out free he can come

my lil girl has been head down since 14 weeks. my lil boy is the one who can't decide how he wants to lay and at 34 weeks, he was breech (and most likely still is)

mine contractions havent been that close together but she has been head down for a while and my dr said at 31 wks they can still flip if they really wanted to but im just hoping she stays this way and decides to make her debut already!

Well no ...that just means that your high risk for premature labor. And I would be scared shitless.
Your due Oct 29th, and having a Sept baby is way early.
They didnt do anything else?
Put you on bedrest, and their saying you might have an Sept baby?
I dunno bout this one.

I am 31 weeks and still breech. I have been having BH contractions though. Doc said baby still has plenty of time to turn.

yea im 37wks today and i cant wait any more... my dr says now its safe for her to come out when she decides to... which i hope she does soon... i think ill go crazy if i went over... lol

iam scared but my daughter was late and iam on bed rest till tommorrow morning but i had to drive to the docs i have a toddler and daddy works so really bed rest for me is nap time. but the doc said mid sept he would be fine with it. i just wish they would do an ultrasound and make sure everything is fine.

Yea mid Sept is still early. I hope your dtr is not a quack. But he is a dtr and knows what hes talking about. You need to get an ultrasound. Cause premature labor would def suck.

my first ultrasound was at 6 months and my baby's head was down as well...Im 31 weeks and still haven't experienced any BH contractions
