pain in my side

I have a dull pain under my rib cage on my leftside, some times it feels that way on the right but mostly on the left. If I apply pressue it kinnda feels better or if I lay down for a little bit it feels better.

It is funny you mention that...i just called the nurse yesterday with this same issue! She told me that it is just ligament stretching. I was so worried that something wasn't right! Plus i don't have a spleen so i thought something was REALLY wrong. But she said it was normal.....but if your stomach starts tightening with the pain....go to the ER! She said it should feel like a knife going into your side....and that should only last a second...but there will be an ache afterward. BUT if you still have the knife feeling for a while....that isn't good. I hope that helps....

yes she is!!! I love her already! It is so amazing how fast you grow attached to them....and you haven't even really met them yet. Just in a sonogram or a listen to a heartbeat i fell in love!

O and i am so glad that i could help. It is like a stretching thing....i totally understand what you are talking about....but call someone to ease your mind and they probably will explain it better thani did. Might help a little more to hearing from someone that is a nurse! Good luck!
