Single mommies or soon to be mommies

My name is Alyssa Im 16 and Due in March. My ex and i broke up about a month and a half ago but i guess im not over him and he calls me sometimes and i cant help but cry. When i see all these pregnant ladies with there boyfriends it kills me inside. It just hurts that when hes off partying im here carrying his baby.I just wanted to kno if it gets any better or easier to deal with.

my ex is still partying too and now he has a new girlfriend who parties with him and shes also convinced him that i'm not pregnant with his baby.

This is something I do know about. When I was 16 I pregnant with my first "Tyler Douglas" I was soo in love with his dad he was my first everything. To make a long story short he left me and got married when I was about 4 months pregnant not to mention he married the first girl that came along (talk about hurt!) Well the new wife ended up just be a drunk and drug addict and it didn't work so when "Tyler" was born he moved from Illinois back to Williamsburg, Va - He was now in love with me and the baby, we stayed together for a year but when it came down to me and the baby and partying guess who won. It is a sad situation he ended up getting shot at a party in 2000 and as much as I miss him and as bad as it sounds at least he's not in and out of my childs life. I am with someone now and have been so for the last 6 years and very happy. So to get to my point it will work out but don't fall into that trap of just wanting to have a man b/c it makes life soo much harder, wait it out and you'll see you will find somebody special that thinks you and the baby are equally as special!

just focus on yourself and your baby. keep yourself busy and surround yourself with family and friends..time will slowly heal everything eventually..good luck <3

I was 16 when I got pregnant with my son and 17 when I had him. Me and his SD (sperm donor) were never really together, we just kind ahung out and partied. He wound up cheating on me and leaving me for this other chic. So when the new year at school rolled around (I got pregs in the summer) I was walking around the school by myself while he was all lovey dovey with his new chick. It hurt big time, and it took me a good 8 months to finally walk away. It hurtA LOt, but the other girl isright. Things did get better with time. I graduated HS w/honors and went to college. I haven't finishedcollege but one day I will.Things will get better.You just have to keep your head up. There are days where you will be sad,or mad, but hey it's part of life. Just make sure you focus on youand yourchild.

It does get easier, but it takes alot of will power and time. The BD is the LEAST of your concerns right now. The main focus of your mind is your child and yourself. Good luck!

It will get easier, especially when you start feeling your little one move inside you. Feeling that new life's first movements inside you, will make you feel so special, you will then know life's too precious to be wasting on a person who doesn't deserve it. Remmember: Nobody deserves your tears and whoever does...won't make you cry.

Like the other chick said ;; TIME. Trust me, I speak from experience. My BD has cheated on me and I found out 2 months ago. Yes, I still hurt when I think about him but I can say that I have gotten much better about the whole situation and I'm over the crying stage. You'll be fine. I just think about my baby coming soon and it definitely changes my mood. Focus on you and what's most important, that baby inside of you. Good luck!!

Definitely not the case ;; there are women out there with 5 kids who find a GOOD MAN who love them for who they are but that should be the least of your worries right now. Again, with time... You'll be ok....

When I was 2 weeks pregnant that father of my baby and I broke up because he moved his ex into his house and expected me to be cool with it. Of course, I couldn't be so he was like "let's be friends for awhile" and blah. He didnt talk to me for a week and finally I blew up on him and told him that he never loved me and goodbye. So 3 weeks went by and then I heard he was saying that the baby wasn't his... I cried for hours. But you get over it. Now my baby is due in a month, and supposedly he wants to be in the baby's life, though he's told everyone but me. I havent heard from him since I was 2 months pregnant. So ya, that doesnt mean crap. Its hard to go through it all by yourself.. but it makes you strong if anything! Oh and guess what? He still lives with his ex girlfriend. Of course they are probably together now, who knows.

2 weeks??? I meant 2 months. :p
