Seizure type movement?

Ok, so I hope that I don't sound crazy but...

every once in a while, when she's bee-boppin around in there, it feels like she is having a seizure. the movements are really hard and strong, and very fast like she's running a marathon or something. i really don't know how else to explain it. it scares me, because of course we will never actually know what's going on in there without getting an ultrasound... but i don't want to worry too much if it is a normal type of movement.... (all measurements and heart rates have been consistant with a healthy pregnancy up to this point)

Has anyone else felt these types of movements?

Yeah I have... my Dr. said it's just their nervous system developing...  

Perfectly normal.. She's just growing and testing her new limbs out!

However, if she has a spastic type movement and then it stops suddenly and you feel nothing at all, you should call your doc. Chances are everything would be fine but it's still worth a call.

wow i've felt the same thing and it freaked me out pretty hardcore lol

Yeah, it made me pretty nervous. Especially seeing my husband's face when he's watching my belly move... he was like  . Of course, that didn't help, but I'm glad to know that these movements are normal!

lol i didnt even think about making a post about that kind of thing, but i'm glad you thought of it! i figured it was probably normal, but still...

I got a video... not a very good one, but at about 7 seconds in it shows the freaky movements i felt for like 3 seconds.

Not sure if thats what you were talking about, but i felt it mostly during the 25-34 weeks, after that they got to be strong little 'lets see how far mommys tummy can stretch' movements.

Yeah, the first couple seconds with the very rapid movement... that's exactly what I was talking about.
