I love screwing with my sox fan friends! Sent them comments of the stadium all empty and it has a crane removing seats.. the thing said "Removing seats wont give you more fans" it's just fun to mess around with them. They do it to me too ^^x

most cub fans i know... dont bash sox fans because they dont care enough... really. and i said it makes me almost not want to vote for him just to spite him ( i have a very serious bond to my sports team and i am verry serious about my team) but you dont need to be attacking me because i did not say in here i would even vote ( i am by the way and i plan to vote obama) i like the guy but he lost points to me for his "joke" seeing as i know he wassayingwhat most sox fans believe... but it bugs me that he would say it. he is in the midst of an election and he is going to take shots at the most loyal fans in baseball (some of whom would not vote for him just for the remark). not smart

OK, well I think you need to realize he is a real person and a devout sox fan that was joking around. I personally think it makes him more "real" and down to earth, it shows his human side and his personality. I think it also helps him with those that dont think that he is "american" , what is more American than baseball and baseball rivalries!

I am a huge Dodger fan and we havea big rivalry with the Giants. We talk crap on each other all the time. That doesnt mean I actually hate them or even dislike them, its all in fun and part of the sports atmosphere.

If Obama had said that about the Dodgers I woudlnt have thought less of him, just that he was a passionate fan! And that he knows how to have a good time and joke around

its not the same kinda of rivalry though   that is what you need to understnad. this is deep. i mean its bigger than any other in baseball (ask almost any deep devoted baseball fan and they will tell you) people are willing to kill over this one (and they have) so most cubs fans will take what he says to heart and get super pissed. yes it makes him human and more "likeable" to some but not those of us who are hardcore cubs fans

lol yeah but our home field i think is what fucked us. too many cubs fans are putting too much pressure on the game and not being good fans. i have a therory that the ones who are not being good sports are the fare weather fans. because i may not be happy with the loss but i dont boo or be rude about it. i think they can do it. and i think being in la will help them some getting away from chicago and the pressure i think is what they need.
