Recycling

Lately I have been really adament about making sure I am recycling things are able to be recycled. I assume it has to do with the fact that I am bringing a child into the world. I would rather the things that do not turn themselves into parts of the earth on their own (compost, etc) be put in their proper place and given a chance to be turned into new things. To many things are going to the dump and garbabage landfills to sit there and rot, I would rather my child and other children not have to play on a land of garbage and thats exactly whats going to happen if more people do not recycle items. I'm not sure if it's the same in other areas, but here in Canada you can pick up bins and bags to put items in to be taken away with your garbage to their proper place. You can either pick these up at your local recycling plant or at your municipal hall. I am asking all the Mommy's and Mommy's to be to try looking into thisand do your part. It doesn't take that long to get your recycling together. To find info on recycling info in your area, but Google it and the information should be right there.

I also became more environmentally friendly when I had my son. I think those hormones help us to think about a greater body of life outside of ourselves, kwim?

We started using cloth diapers as well and it is something that we have continued with our other children and will do with this child too.
