Contraction Question

Wondering if pain in the back more the the front is common for contractions? They started earlier and were 10 minutes apart with VERY intense back pain and now have subsided to about every 30 minutes and more like back spasism and a little sore on the belly...

With my first all I had was back pain no stomach tightening or anything. With my second it was opposite.

Could be back labor, is your belly getting hard too with each contraction?

yah but then relaxes a little when the back pain stops, like i said though, the back pain feels more like i have just been on my feet to long. (haven't been on my feet but thats what it feels like) and only lasts for a few seconds...

my Doctor said contractions in the begining should be 30-50 seconds or so, and could be in your back, but usually your belly stays tight with the tightening in your back. Not sure hun, sorry! Hope the pain gets better!!!
