if your having labor signs castor oil might help move things along. Works for some people, for the ones it doesnt I feel soo bad!! lol

why do you want to induce anyway? your due date is totally an estimate. your baby will come out when your body is ready.  
also, just putting it out there-- pitocin makes your contractions unnaturally strong, so it will probably be a lot harder for you to not choose painkillers if you induce that way.

if you want to try a natural induction, have sex with your hubby!   (as long as the doctor hasn't told you "no sex.") the prostaglandins in the semen and the uterine contractions during orgasm is supposed to help things along. and get him to stimulate your nipples while you're at it   that helps too since it makes oxytocin, the natural and SAFER "pitocin."

Oh believe me, I don't want to induce!!! My doc is pretty much making me...but I have a week so I'm not stressing too much!! Yes, I plan on having lots of sex!!!!!

I wish I could want sex, ughh grr, I cant even think abou it without wanting to throw up. LOL My poor hubby. Now that he doesnt get it that much neways due to me feeling like a whale, he wont get it after the baby cause I have to wait at least 6 wks. for intercourse. ( I told him that the other day, and he laughed and said, Im not waiting 6 wks. I have other plans.....lol) I dropped my jaw and was like wtf you ass lol and started laughing. I swear men!!!!!!!! They can think of anything when it comes to them wanting sex.

Oh my gosh! I was just reading about all the aromatherapy stuff in a book yesterday! I can't believe that sent you into labor! OP, maybe you should try that! I think I will if I am overdue. Anything to not do an induction again.   Good luck to you, I hope she comes before next Tuesday!
