if you do happen to give in..go slow and wear a CONDOM. you dont want to be preggo at your 6wk pp check up

I would just wait till the bleeding stopped and you have been to your 6 week check up. I waited like 8 weeks cause I didnt get into the doctor till then. I wanted to make sure the cervix and everything was all good down there first. PLus , I probably just didnt care about doing it yet...lol (just from being tired)

its up to you and your husband, HOWEVER, at least for me after that first 6-8 weeks pp. it hurt much less than it did before the baby.

Yeah my ob said "don't put ANYTHING up there for at least six weeks." LOL I didn't have that problem because hubby was deployed at the time, but if I were you I'd wait until you get the OK at your six week checkup. Of course, it's your body so do whatever you feel is right! I'm impressed that you even want to do it at all, LOL I wasn't feeling it for a long time after giving birth!

Well I have heard that the reason they say wait is so the cervix has time to close back up and you don't want to get an infection up there and chance not being able to have more children. So I'd wait till your dr says ok.
