good news

posted 25th Aug
so we got a vehicle now YAY! Well Wednesday we will have one for sure anyways. A 2004 GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado, I want the Silverado because it has the middle seat in the front and that is great for Arieanna, so she can be up front and see us. I am so happy I get to go to school. My mom is wonderful because she took out the loan for the truck and she hooked the internet back up in my house. I need it for school.

So this is mostly just an update to my pals on here. Excuse the rambling...what has everyone been up to?

Should you be putting a 3 month old in the front seat? I'm not trying to start shit, I'm actually legitimently (sp?) asking.

Not to be mean or anything - but I didn't really think it was safe to have a baby or a carseat up front in a truck....

Yeah. they are supposed to be in the back rear facing until they are one. Because of the airbags.

If the truck has one seat in it it is fine to put the baby in the front. (where else will you put it) As long as the air bags are deactivated!

no its not. it should say on the car seat and on the visor in the car "the safesest place for chiildren under 12 is in the back seat" and Never place rear facin car seat in front seat can cause death or serious injury

It's fine as long as the airbags are disabled.
But for overall safety it is better to have them in the back if you have a back seat.

Well I looked and it says that if the airbag can be deactivated then it will be ok to put the baby in the front. But I see that it is safest to have them in the back.
