Hospital Bag

posted 25th Aug
Anyone know of any good websites or anything that will give me a good idea of what to pack in my hospital bag? Or if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it!!
I'm getting ready to pack mine up and buy extra makeup and stuff to put in it so I don't have to search for mine when I'm getting ready to leave.
I'm going to the store tomorrow when I get off work.
Anything you ladies didn't think to bring but wish you would have or anything you were really glad you brought??
I'm just lost on thiswhole thing lol.

Just pack like you would be going out of town.

When it comes to the baby I know one thing I needed but didnt have was a nail clipper. My son was born with really long nails and the hospital isnt allowed to cut them or give you nail clippers.

Also maybe a pacifier.

Lastly I packed for the normal 2 day stay but I ended up having an emergency c-section which turned my stay into 4 days. My boyfriend had to go home and get more stuff for us since we didnt expect that.

Don't forget the camera!!!!!!

Other than that just buy travel size shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, extra toothbrush, etc. so that you don't have to run around gathering it all up when you go into labor.

don't forget stuff to pull your hair back if you have long hair.

bring your own meds like tylenol, prenatal vitamins, etc. the hospital has them, but they charge an arm and a leg for them --at least my hospital did]

if i think of anything else i'll let you know!
