Is cramping normal?

I'm 12 1/2 weeks & I have been cramping all day....nothing unbearable or extreme but noticable. I feel it in the front & in my back. I have some cervical issues that my ob was watching but last week, my u/s showed my cervical length to be 3.62cm so they thought that I could probably escape w/out a cerclage. I know that I have a tilted uterus and it's moves forward in this stage of pregnancy. My cervical mucus has been dark but not quite brown. Should I worry? It's nearly 10pm here and I don't want to look like a freak by bothering my ob or going to the ER. Is cramping common in this stage of pregnancy? Thanks ladies =}

is it cramping or like a sharp pain... it could be round ligament pain

I had cramping at 12 weeks but no cervical issues. If it is something that its bothering you, it never hurts to call

These are cramps. However, since you mentioned it: Does round ligament pain feel like the cramp you get from running too much? I had that all weekend but this feels like menstrual cramps.

idk I didn't really get it that bad I just got a couple sharppains here and there, never any cramps like I got after running.. so I can't really help you out there. I dont know if thats normal or not but there should always be a doctor on call... better to be safe and call
