posted 25th Aug
Well my daughter is 18 months and she keeps taking off her pampers. she hands them to me and says pampers. i dont know what to do. i tryed to put her on the tolit holding her saying peepee and potty but she just looks at me like im crazy. Why would she be taking her pampers off every 5 minutes. like 30 timesa a day!any one elses toddler do this?

Maybe you should dabble with potty training.

my girls loved to do it just for the fun of it. Mainly when I was busy. They knew then that I had to stop and put a new one on. Kids are smart.

yes. its a phase.

It CAN but def. does not ALWAYS have anything to do with being ready for potty training.

she probably likes to do it not only because you probably pick her right up and put it back on & give her lots and lots of attention at that moment because you're probably frustrated with the constant rediapering. & even though she seems confused when you try to put her on the potty.. that might be what she really wants. no more pamper. lol
[i took care of my friends toddler for a year while she was deployed and he only did it at night when he wanted to take a crap & i wouldn't find it until morning, yummy]

dd went thru it for like 2 months Id say.

I started putting like onsies and jeans on her. The more she had to work- the less she'd take em off.

My 13 month old son has started doing this - it is impossiable to potty train him though.. instead he takes the pot out of the potty and puts in on top his head! So what I did was bought him some lil' tighty whities and I put them over his diaper.
